Meet Our Chef

Owner/Chef Jimmy Kollar was formally trained under two world renown Chefs, Rosalie “Scardina” Pontera and MaryAnn “Pontera” Kollar. These two women where the most influential women not only in Jimmy’s life but his partner and brother Jeff’s life as well, their Grandmother “Nanie” and their Mother.

As a young boy, the Chef was schooled by these two women about the key to great food is not the recipe, but the smell, taste and most important to prepare food for people with love, compassion and care.

JJ’s sauce, soups and most menu items are family recipes taught by these two extraordinary women.
